Environmental Influences on Practice-based Education

Following requests on Twitter for information and evidence behind the idea that the environmental ‘set up’ for pain education can and does influence how people learn, I’ve added the following extract from my MSc reflective portfolio in Practice-based Education – Know Pain Planning

As clinicians, it’s vital that we gain a better understanding of how best to help people learn about effective self management of persistent pain. I hope this reflective extract provides some ideas and signposts for further learning.

If you’d like to learn more about how to improve your patient education skills, take a look at upcoming Know Pain course dates in Manchester (25-27th October) or Gillingham, Kent (1st & 2nd November).

Happy learning!
