Here are some anonymous comments that have been provided by a range of student healthcare professionals following the Know Pain course experience:

I was really worried about treating chronic pain patients. My main fear was that I would make their pain worse by causing more damage. This course has made me realise that pain and damage are not always linked. I have also learnt about pacing and graded exposure to exercise. I now feel more confident about treating chronic pain patients and look forward to helping them in future.

This course has changed my way of thinking. I can now see that in order to manage persistent patients better, I must face the challenge and engage in open discussion about their beliefs and expectations. I was worried about starting work as I didn’t feel ready to treat patients with my manual therapy skills, but now I can see that treatment begins with better communication.

Very insightful. The speaker was extremely positive & passionate, and brought me along with him!
